You may find articles on this topic in several databases. I would start by visiting the Bailey Library website and clicking on Resources by Subject in the left navigation menu. Then choose Safety Management from the list of subject areas. From the list of databases, choose Academic Search Complete. This will open the database (note if you are off campus you will be prompted to login using the same user name and password that you use to access SRU email). On the main search screen of the database, click on the link for "Choose Databases" which is directly above the search box. This will allow you to select additional databases to search at one time. I would select Environment Complete and Business Source Premier. Academic Search Complete is a database that includes many subject areas. By including Environment Complete and Business Source Premier, you'll also capture articles from journals that are more specific to the environment and business. Then click OK to return to the search screen.
To begin your search, click on Advanced Search for the best search options. You may try entering the word "logging" in the first box and then choosing SU Subject from the drop-down menu. In the next box, try entering "safety or OSHA or regulations." By separating keywords with "OR" (called a Boolean search), you can search for several keywords in one search. Be sure to click on the checkbox for Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) journals on the left side of the screen.
To increase the number of search results that you find, you may want to try alternate keywords such as synonyms or related words. An internet search for logging and the OSHA website may give you some ideas for specific OSHA standards or topics related to logging. This may help you find additional words to use as search terms in the databases for finding peer reviewed articles.
