I am assuming your topic of research is the teaching of English. If you are looking for articles, you will want to access the Bailey Library web page and click the link "resources by subject". Here, you can locate the Education link -- this will take you to a list of databases relating to education.
Also, you could access the "articles/databases" link and search under EBSCO. EBSCO is a vendor that houses many different databases, so you will need to click on the "vendor" link on the top of the page.
Within EBSCO, I suggest the following databases for information on teaching English:
*Academic Search Complete
*Education Research Complete
*Teacher Resource Center
Here is the link to the library web page: http://www.sru.edu/academics/library/Pages/Home.aspx
If you are accessing the databases from an off-campus location, you will need to enter your full SRU email address and password when prompted to do so via the Keystone Library Network (KLN) web page.
Should you have any troubles, a librarian is available at the Research Services Desk until 9:00 PM this evening, 10 - 9 tomorrow and Thursday as well. The phone number for the Research Services Desk is 724.738.2641. Also, my name is Jessica Jordan and I am the Education Librarian. My email address is below -- I would be happy to assist you should you have any trouble.
Good luck in your search and please do not hesitate to contact us for additional help.
