To place an interlibrary loan request, visit the Bailey Library website and click on Interlibrary Loan in the left navigation menu. You can use interlibrary loan to request books and articles that are not available or accessible through Bailey Library. To place a request, click on the link for Illiad and sign in using the same user name and password that you use to check SRU email. You will be asked for some basic contact information on your first login so the interlibrary loan department can reach you if needed. You can then enter the citation information for the journal or article that you are requesting.
There is no charge for SRU students to use interlibrary loan. It takes approximately one week to borrow books and several days for article requests (length of time may vary). For more information about the terms and procedures, this is a link to the Interlibrary Loan policy, which is also available on the library website under Library Policies: http://www.sru.edu/academics/library/Documents/ILL.pdf
Contact information for interlibrary loan staff is available on the website if you have additional questions.
