You can access ebooks from the library catalog by clicking on the link in the catalog record. It sounds like you have a specific book in mind. If that is the case, from the library homepage, click on Search Our Catalog in the left navigation menu. Then enter the book title in the search box and click on "Title Search" in the right menu. In your search results, the book titles will be blue links. Click on the link for the title you need and you will see a link to access the ebook. Once you click that link, you'll see two blue boxes that give you options to read the book online or download it.
Here is an example: If I was searching for the book Criminal Law Conversations, I would go to the library homepage and click Search Our Catalog. Then I would enter the words Criminal Law Conversations in the search box and choose Title Search. I find only one book by that title so I see a screen with information about the book and a link at the top that says "Click here to view the ebook." Once I click that link, I see a picture of the book cover and options to read online or download the book. (Note that if you are off-campus, you will be prompted to login when you click on the link for the ebook. Simply click on SRU in the drop-down menu and then enter the user name and password that you use to check SRU email).
I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have other questions.
