Hi Libby ~

No worries, we can help you find the information you need -- searching the databases can be challenging and frustrating, depending on the topic.

As you are looking for information on the elderly OR dementia patients AND wandering, you have a nice set of search terms ready to use.  I did a quick search via EBSCO (the vendor) using the MEDLINE (database) to see what I could find.  I had 15 results using elderly AND wandering in the advanced search option -- three of which looked pertinent to your topic.

I suggest utilizing the Resources by Subject link (found on the left-hand side of the Bailey Library web page).  Search for Nursing and use the databases listed there to find articles.   Also, I suggest using EBSCO and browsing the databases available.  In addition to MEDLINE, you may want to add the psychology or sociology databases to expand your results.   Please note - the EBSCO link is at the BOTTOM of the articles/databases list under "vendors".   I have included links below to the Resources by Subject page as well as a link to the Articles/Databases page.

Good luck -- and please do not hesitate to follow-up if you have additional questions or need further assistance.
