To log in with your email address and password, make sure that you are using the boxes on the right side of the screen, and select Slippery Rock from the "institution" menu directly above where you enter your email address. Include the "@sru.edu" extension, and type the same password that you use for services like D2L or your SRU email. it is case-sensitive, so make sure your caps lock is not on. I just tried logging in myself, and I didn't have any trouble, so the system is working correctly.
Also, make sure that you access the databases by going directly through the library homepage--do not use a link in D2L or MySRU.
If your login still does not work, there are a few more things you can try. First, you can log in on the left side of the login screen, using your ID number and last name. The ID number is the 16-digit number on your SRU ID card. (Not the number starting with A0, which is your Banner ID number.) If you do not have your ID card, you can obtain this number by calling the library circuation desk at 724.738.2641, when the library is open (tomorrow, that will be 8 AM to 4 PM).
Another option is to ask the HELP desk to reset your password. For some reason, even if your password has not expired, resetting it sometimes clears up access problems. That number is 724.738.4357. They are available only during regular business hours. (Probably 8-4 over the break.)
Good luck, Kristy, and if you have any more trouble, don't hesitate to get back in touch. In case you need this information again later you can find all of the off-campus accessing troubleshooting steps and tips are here, in the distance education Lib Guide: http://sru.libguides.com/access
